Acara Solutions is Hiring a Surface Mount Operator Near Oldsmar, FL
Here's what you'd do:
- Uses microscope to verify correct part placement and orientation, manually align parts before soldering, and perform post-re-flow inspection and touch-up.
- Identify and touch up poor wetted solder joints, solder voids / insufficient solder, solder shorts/ bridges, misaligned parts/leads, tombstoned and or billboarded components, and any out solder defects that may occur during the SMT operation.
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in using rework equipment such as hot air pencils, hot plates, and BGA removal (ERSA or other OEM)
- Minimum of 2 years experience in surface mount components
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Soldering
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Be able to read instructions and identify standard SMT components.
- Be an extraordinary solder technician or operator who has used re-work equipment
- IPC-610 Certification
- IPC J-STD-001 Certification
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Salary: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
